    God Wants ALL of You

    God Wants ALL of You

#16: Intimacy. I’m curious what thoughts come to mind when you hear that word?
When I first started hearing it in my Christian circles used to describe a relationship with God, I admit I had a distorted understanding of its meaning and it felt a little tabu to be using it to describe a relationship with God.
Today’s episode will be a little shorter than normal because there’s only so much I can say without starting to get redundant but what the Holy Spirit shares with us is pretty powerful.
We are going to learn the true meaning of the word intimacy, what it means to be intimate with God and why he wants all of us.
    Key Take-Aways:
The true meaning of intimacy is closeness, familiarity and friendship.Pslams 139:7-10 ”Where shall I go from your Spirit? Or where shall I flee from your presence? If I ascend to heaven, you are there! If I make my bed in Sheol, you are there! If I take the wings of the morning and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, even there your hand shall lead me, and your right hand shall hold me.“Proverbs 18:24 “Some friendships don’t last for long, but there is one loving friend who is joined to your heart closer than any other!”When we talk about growing in intimacy with God, we are talking about friendship. How can we start cultivating a friendship with God? By simply including him.Deuteronomy 31:8 reads, ”The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.”No longer do you have to feel lonely or like you don’t fit in; He calls you His child. Intimacy is the foundation of experiencing God’s best.

Go to him like you would an earthly friend and share everything with him. Don’t hold back. Pour it all out on the paper. Allow him to be a friend back to you.

    God's Invitation to the Unknown

    God's Invitation to the Unknown

#15: On today’s episode, we are exploring what might be possible to be comfortable in the unknown. I know I may not be alone in saying this but ever since the pandemic, we seem to be living in a more unfamiliar world than ever before.
It seems this unfamiliar territory isn’t going to change anytime soon so how can we calm our souls so we aren’t in a constant state of trying to understand the meaning or make sense of everything?
    Key Take-Aways:
Being in the unknown is an invitation from God to trust him more.Isaiah 55:8-9 “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.”No matter what happens, we have victory in Christ.Jeremiah 29:11 ”For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”When you only see two different outcomes or what is also known as the duality pendulum. It is black or white thinking. Outcome A or B.In order to break this pendulum of swinging back and forth between only two possible outcomes, you are invited to sit down and write out 20 more possible outcomes.Being comfortable with the unknown is being in God’s presence.Romans 8:38-39 "For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord."

Take the next 15 minutes and write out 20 other possible outcomes. Don’t hold back. Get as wild as possible with your ideas. Have fun with it. God's Freedom Delivered Through a Horse Named Reba

God's Freedom Delivered Through a Horse Named Reba

#13: Today we are wrapping up the Soul Care series with this last episode. We’ll do a recap of some important takeaways from the previous episodes and I’ll share a personal story of how healing fear in my soul led me to freedom with a horse named Reba.
    Key Takeaways:
If you're in Christ, your spirit man is good. It's your soul that needs some help. Many people want supernatural deliverance and that can occur, but there's practical application. It's important for us to have the perception of how God sees what's going on in our lives versus how we see it.Fear will always agree with you when you're negative about yourself.Matthew 7:11 ”If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him!“It is important to know that different modalities work for one person that may not work for another. Seeking deeper treatment for your soul is very individually based and always consult the Holy Spirit and he will guide you to what you need. EFT Tapping or Emotional Freedom Techniques. EFT tapping is a mind-body method of tapping acupuncture points (acupoints) on the hands, face, and body with your fingertips while focusing on an issue or feeling you're hoping to resolve. This method may reduce stress and anxiety, improve performance, lessen cravings, and help resolve fears.Fear is an emotion and emotions make up our soul. When we do the work of healing our soul, it allows God to work freedom in us.Soul work is so important and so necessary. It isn’t something that we arrive at or complete.

Your Family Dynamics Influence Your View of God

Your Family Dynamics Influence Your View of God

#12: The way we view our earthly father or earthly mother and our earthly siblings can directly influence the way that we view the Trinity. On today's episode, we have a special guest, Karen Hauck, and she will be sharing with us how our earthly family relationships can directly influence our relationships with our Heavenly Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. This is a very dynamic conversation that we have, and I'm really joy filled to share it with you.
    Key Takeaways:
Sometimes we hit these walls and we're not moving forward, or the same patterns are getting repeated. It's important for us to have the perception of how God sees what's going on in our lives versus how we see it.When we get saved, we come into the Kingdom and we accept that our lives are a mess and we need somebody other than ourselves to run it. The Holy Spirit comes and He takes residence inside of us. It begins this journey of an identity as a son or a daughter.God has a plan for us and we become Ambassadors. We have a specific role to be releasing the Kingdom of God on the earth.Romans 12:2 TPT "Stop imitating the ideals and opinions of the culture around you, but be inwardly transformed by the Holy Spirit through a total reformation of how you think. This will empower you to discern God's will as you live a beautiful life, satisfying and perfect in his eyes."God is never silent. His biggest joy is to interact with us.Fear will always agree with you when you're negative about yourself. Fear is never going to be the voice or the spirit because it is an actual spirit that says, good job, way to go. I love how you're doing that.Fear, anxiety, worry, all those things become, we don't mean to do it, but they get built up and they also block us from God.It was never God's intent to punish us. His only intent has always been to love us and to bring us close.

For this week’s HPS Challenge, take out your journal and spend at least 15 minutes in a quiet space if possible. Marinate on what Karen shared and start to write down what you felt like the Holy Spirit was saying to you during this interview and if there was anything that you felt God was speaking to you.
In this episode we talked about things that block us from hearing from God. Write those things down that you think might be blocking you from hearing God and go to Him and ask Him to reveal Himself to you. He is, as Karen was saying, always wanting to communicate with us. And there's so many ways that he can communicate with us. But take this time now to connect with your Father.

Such foundational truths of what we have access to as kingdom citizens!

I have been so inspired by this podcast. What Angee is sharing is helping me to understand that everything God has for me when aided by Holy Spirit is revealed in developing a relationship with the Person of Holy Spirit. Because the Spirit knows what God wants to do in my life, He can begin to open my understanding about God, His purpose and His ways. I love how Angee is breaking this down and walking us through it bite by bite, so that we can chew and digest and get all the nutrients from the word in our spirit, soul and body. Can’t wait to hear all the insights and revelations coming up in future episodes. Angee, we are being blessed because of your obedience, your realness, and the way of your gentle spirit to speak truth in love.

KLLaird ,

Deepen your relationship with the Holy Spirit!

In a world bombarded with information and constant noise, Angee's podcast acts as a comforting refuge. She reminds me that amidst the chaos of this world, we have a source of peace and comfort within ourselves, through the Holy Spirit. If you're looking for a podcast that uplifts, inspires, and guides you towards a deeper relationship with the Holy Spirit, this is it!
